Isostatic Pressing

Stage 1
Ceramic powder is fed into a moulding bag inside an isostatic press

Stage 2
The press is sealed and the isostatic pressure increased

Stage 3
The powder compacts and forms a solid in the form of the moulding bag. The pressure is released and the press can be open to remove the formed ceramic component
