Project Trinity
(Relocation from St Peter’s Road to Central Park)
Morgan Advanced Ceramics, Rugby Division, a supplier of technical ceramics for industrial applications, announced, in February 2003 that it intended to relocate from its St Peter’s Road location to a new purpose built manufacturing facility at Central Park, Rugby.
The old site was in need of such extensive modernisation that it made better financial sense to look for new premises. By staying in the town the company was able to retain its skilled and dedicated workforce and having a purpose built site allowed efficient layout for the manufacturing processes it uses.
The project was named Trinity by all those concerned, because it involved three sites, the old, the new and a sister site in
Stourport-on-Severn.

The Mayor of Rugby, Councillor Richard Lane, officially opened the new site on Friday 10th June 2005. Other guests included local MEP, Malcolm Harbour, Rugby MP, Jeremy Wright and Kevin Farrell, CEO of the British Ceramics Confederation. |
